There are people out there who are so consumed with saying “Single Awareness Day” …and even though it may be a joke to some people, that’s how they really feel. (Even I had to catch myself.) Moreover, why are some Christians so bent on saying “Jesus is my Valentine” when they’re only going to choose Jesus as a last resort? In reality, some of them may feel lonely too. (This is just my opinion. Don’t kill me.)
What happened to the childhood Valentine’s Day? Did it diminish? I remember I use to look forward to V-Day parties in elementary school. We got to bring candy and those little cards to share with the rest of the class. Don’t get it twisted I enjoyed receiving the candy and the cards too, but those days were fun!
Nowadays, we get depressed about this day when we don’t have a Valentine. I want a Valentine too, but I’m not gonna make some advertisement for it 😂 I’m worth more than that. The right guy will come for me, just like the right person will come for you. I am in no hurry… and you shouldn’t be either! Let’s spread L❤️VE to one another instead, even self love. Some of us don’t do a lot of that.
