What is Neatly Tangled Yarn?

Neatly Tangled Yarn is my brand, my hustle. It is my art that will show my creativity.  Using a crochet hook the yarn is tangled together, yet there’s a fascinating look about it that makes it look… neat. (Yea, corny I know… but I don’t care!) There’s more to this brand than scarves, hats, and blankets. There’s so much more you can do with crochet. I could have every intention of making a scarf (for example) and it can be worn like a belt, waist candy. 🙂

I got the name idea from a poem that I wrote. (Yes, I write poetry from time to time.) I RARELY post any of my writings… so don’t judge me… here goes…

MY NEEDLE

A needle, a ball of yarn, and a pattern

They all make something great

It takes time, especially with one needle

following the pattern

Pushing the needle through the neatly tangled yarn

It makes me wonder why I enjoy it so much

I want the pattern now but it’s taking so long

Yet there is something that I like about it

When I mess up

I pull out the pattern without any trouble

Patience

When I have problems I crochet with my needle

Every movement of the needle to the yarn

It gives me less stress and more patience

But when I put down the needle

I wonder will I still have patience

So crocheting can be very relaxing and fascinating. Crocheting is one of the new elements that brings out the creativity in me. It never ceases to amaze me how I can create a bunch of things with just a crochet hook and yarn. So I wanted to show that to people! 🙂

My vision is to show people that crocheting can be a cool thing. I want to break the stereotype of crocheting only being for our “seasoned” folks. Anyone can do it and anyone can wear it! My mission is to be a blessing to people using my brand and to give back. Do I have a motto? Nope LOL! I’ll be like Nike and Just Do It! 😀
